Welcome Message
Dear PAASCU Accreditors,
Warm greetings of peace and goodwill!
On behalf of the administration, faculty, staff, and students of De La Salle Andres Soriano Memorial College, we extend our sincere welcome and appreciation as we formally submit our application for the Preliminary Visit of our Senior High School Program offering the Academic Track. The institution has been providing Basic Education since its establishment in 1965 and, in response to the implementation of the K to 12 Program, began offering the Senior High School Program Academic Track in School Year 2016–2017 under Permit No. 264, s. 2015, with the following strands in Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS), Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM), and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Beginning School Year 2026–2027, the school will transition to the Strengthened Senior High School Program under the Academic Track, offering elective clusters in Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities (ASSH), Business and Entrepreneurship (B&E), and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). This transition marks a significant enhancement from the previous strand-based framework to the more flexible and responsive elective cluster structure prescribed by the Department of Education, aimed at better addressing learner interests, industry demands, and future-ready competencies.
We desire to be considered for this important stage of accreditation, which we view as a meaningful opportunity for growth, reflection, and continuous quality enhancement of our academic programs.
We are likewise pleased to share that our Basic Education Program is a PAASCU Level II Accredited and is eligible for application for Level III status, a testament to our sustained commitment to quality assurance, academic excellence, and continuous improvement in all aspects of school life. This milestone further strengthens our resolve to align our Senior High School offerings with the standards of PAASCU.
In relation to our application, we respectfully inform you that all pertinent documents have been duly prepared and may be accessed through the link provided for your convenience and review. We trust that these materials will adequately support our application and provide a clear picture of our institutional foundational principles and programs.
As we move forward in this accreditation journey, we express our deep desire for the school to continue to flourish in its mission of forming individuals who can exhibit the Lasallian Graduate Attributes who are prepared to serve the Church, society, and the nation. Guided by our Lasallian identity, we remain steadfast in realizing our vision of transformative education anchored on faith, service and community.
Thank you for your time, expertise, and continued commitment to advancing educational quality in the Philippines. We look forward to your guidance and fruitful collaboration.
Respectfully yours,
MA. DONITHA C. HERNANDO
